Day Breakfast needs volunteers to help. Two seatings on Mother's Day

Friends of PARTNERS: Friends of Partners
will have a small group meeting May 4th in room 102 at 12:45pm. Anyone
interested is welcome to attend. Lunch will be available. If you have

Aspire - High School Abstinence Curriculum:
Free Teacher Training Workshop May 2, 8:30am-3pm, Pike's Waterfront
Lodge, Binkley Room. Aspire is a positive presentation of the benefits
of abstinence until marriage. Throughout the curriculum, lessons incorporate
principles needed in preparing for a healthy future marriage. Reister

Love and Respect
We are encouraging
couples to begin the "Love and Respect" series. If you are
interested in joining, or forming, a small group to study this series
please sign up in the Foyer.
MOPS Consignment Sale
Mark your calendars-May 3
is the annual MOPS Consignment Sale. If you are interested in selling
items start gathering your maternity clothes, baby toys, baby clothes,
play pens, etc and make sure they are cleaned and tagged. Proceeds are
split 35/65 with MOPS receiving 35%. Questions-call Kathie at 347-1142.
Drop off items 5/2, 5-7pm at Friends Church.
Second Annual Kids Day, May
31, 10-3pm at Friend's Church:
This is a great event for the entire community and the whole family
! We will have horse back rides, crafts, food, games and tons of other
fun things to do ! There will also be informational booths about many
different organizations that are for families. We can always use help,
so contact Kathy kstacy@friendschurch.org
for more information.
Fuel the Fire
1) Fuel the Fire guys and girls small groups are starting Mon nights
at the Church from 7-8:30. These groups are gender specific. Any Parents
willing to host a group and it's leader with their home please contact
Ben Sanders at 452-2249 or bsanders@friendschurch.org.
2) If you are a mature believer and have a heart for youth, Fuel the
Fire is looking for female young adults to lead small groups. Group
meetings would be bi-weekly and flexible to meet your schedule. If you're

UAF Students: The Remnant Christian Fellowship
meets at 7:30 PM on Wednesdays in the Woods Center Upper Food Court.

Small groups are fellowship with an intimate group of believers every
week! Our small groups range in style from mothers of pre-schoolers
to middle-aged married couples to hungry men who meet for breakfast
each week. There are LOTS of small groups - more than ever before!

Debt Free: One Foot at a Time
As
of 4/20/08 Total Given=$230,499 Total Feet=4,191 from the One Foot Fund
Raiser.
Friends Community Church has
refinanced the loan for the building. To repay this debt ($2.2 million)
in as short a time as possible, while still devoting the maximum resources
to directly meeting ministry needs in our community, the finance team
is kicking off the "Debt Free-One Foot at a Time" campaign. [more on
